Thanks much for listening, Kevin! I'd be curious to know what you liked about the different versions, if possible. Are you also non-committal about me being a human, AI, or cyborg?
Still lacking the time but your article sure deserves some of it. We will need to read it more carefully to put down some substantial stuff but we want you to know that you are making us smile! It's very rewarding to see that our work is making an impact no matter how small it might seem...
Definitely! It is a challenge for me to present a song in more of a raw/pure format as you do, so this was a good exercise. Thanks for the inspiration!
Not sure if it is already clear for you but there is this dynamic rhythmic approach to the interpretation that puts the songs totally out of control for a strict DAW producer and also the out of tune nuances between voice and guitar (in the future other instruments will also enter in the equation). That's where the AI challenge is mostly coming from. It's not so much about the melody but the dynamic flow of the rhythmic section with the interpretation of the poetical-philosophical lyrical message in display...
Jaunty electronic rock - strong minimalism
I'm gonna go full non-committal and say I liked both, but for very different reasons.

If you’re a cyborg, can you at least be the Six Million Dollar Man kinda cyborg and not something from Terminator?
Wish I could be, unfortunately, skynet programmed me to destroy...with rock and roll.
Given the opportunity, I will always vote for the cyborg.
Ha! Good call.

Also, you’re welcome for inspiring you with the “hold my empty beer” gag
Thanks for bein' a A+ jerk! And it is Stuart...my copy editor is fired, again.
A+ Jerk. That's going to be my new stage name.
The produced version. That dark image of you playing, in those glasses, CREEPS me out. Can't separate that from the acoustic version.
hard agree on the creepo take.
I like both versions. Keep them coming!
Thanks, Ben! Will do. Hope all is good.
Keepin' it real Ryan. Do more acoustic!
Funny you linking The Boss and Don Henley, I saved https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igRJTKNBX5k and listen to it every once in a while...
and of course https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5PoIrcyd34
For me, I always prefer acoustic/live warts and all.
Ha! Thanks for the links and the encouragement, Alexander. Much appreciated...gotta keep it real sometimes.
Cool (Kool?) exercise; I definitely prefer the fully produced version. Glad to have unwittingly provided some synthspiration!
Double thanks, Dan, for the like and the synthspiration (great term)!
